The Colorado Outlaws Hockey Academy, in affiliation with Hyland Hills Hockey Association, is pleased to announce the 2008 Summer Program. The Colorado Outlaws Elite Hockey Academies will operate for 8 weeks beginning May 5, 2008 and concluding June 29, 2008 and consist of programs for all ages. Programs include the "Gunslingers Academy" which is designed for Squirt, Pee Wee and Bantams, the "Marshall's Academy" designed for Goalies 8 U D pool and older, the "Sheriff's Academy" designed for 8 and Under C and D pool players, and the "Deputies Academy" designed for 8 and Under A and B pool players. Academies range in cost from $225 - $700 and include top quality coaches and instruction. Please see the attached brochure for complete details.

Additionally, Hockey Director Brian Sutton is planning on incorporating two summer travel teams, Pee Wee and Bantam, in conjunction with the Outlaws Elite Hockey Academies. Travel teams will attend as many as 3 tournaments over the Summer and will also schedule games with other local area teams. Complete information regarding the travel teams including tryout information will be released in the first part of February 2008.

Midget Programs - we are currently working on finalizing the details of the Outlaws Summer Midget program. Complete program details are anticipated to be released in the first part of February 2008 as well.

We look forward to building on the success of the programs participants which was achieved last year and are excited about the benefits that the Colorado Outlaws Hockey Academies can provide to the areas youth hockey players.

There will be a informational meeting on Friday, March 21st, 2008 at 6 PM in the ICaP Party Rooms.

Doug Smail's Camp of No Forgiveness will be held at the Ice Centre at the Promenade and will be a 4 week program and begins on May 31st, 2008 and concludes on July 2nd. Official Academy Brochure, Registration Form, Calendar/Schedule, and Waiver of Liability are below. Academy sessions will consist of a total of 12 1.25 hour ice times plus an additional 30 minutes of dryland training. The Camp will include skating drills, however will focus on developing hand speed and agility training and incorporating shooting, passing, and puck handling skills. Off ice dryland training will include both stationary and bounding plyometric drills.

Cost for the Academy will be $325.00.
