Hyland Hills Hockey Association

HHHA is a volunteer-based organization, and doing everything that needs to be done for our teams and our players takes a tremendous amount of effort and coordination.

We are truly grateful for the outstanding contribution of our many volunteers! We are especially pleased that many people not serving on the HHHA board have taken on key roles within the organization.

We would love to have even more people involved, so if you are interested please “raise your hand” and participate.

HHHA would love to involve as many members as possible to help serve on committees. We are creating several committees and list below is a description of the plan for these committees and the number of volunteers we are recruiting to serve on each committee.

Fundraising/Marketing Committee - 

Members of this committee will gather fundraising opportunities for the association and be charged with creating and implementing a marketing plan for HHHA. The plan can include but not limited to the following ideas: promoting HHHA and its members, brochures for new members, golf tournament, membership appreciation BBQ, and gaining sponsorship from local and corporate businesses. We are looking for diversity amongst the committee members.

Tournament Committee –

The members on this committee will be charged with organizing and promoting HHHA’s tournaments. We are looking for diversity amongst the committee members.

Communication Committee –

This committee with be charged with helping improve the communication throughout the association. The members of this committee with create a plan for the communication flow of information that includes but is not limited to the association website, newsletter, and communication board. We are looking for diversity amongst the committee members – the goal is to have members that span all age division, 8U, DNHL and CCYHL.

Rules and Regulations –

This committee will be charged with creating a policy and procedure manual that encompasses the current HHHA rules and regulations, policies and procedures. The committee will also review these rules and regulations and bring any irregularities of rules, regulations, policies and or procedures that might need to be changed or updated to the BOD attention to be addressed. We are looking for diversity amongst the committee members.

Tryout Committee – 

This committee will be responsible for the entire tryout process. The committee members will work with the Executive Hockey Director, Assistant Hockey Director, other HHHA Staff, Coaches and the BOD to execute a smooth tryout experience for all HHHA members. This includes but is not limited to organizing the sign-in/check in process, volunteers, on-ice help, team selection, communication to members, collection of jersey’s, storage of tryout jersey’s and equipment etc. We are looking for diversity amongst the committee members.
