8U Coaching Information
Below is the information that must be completed to be able to coach at Hyland Hills in the 8U Division.
For this upcoming year there are a number of new procedures that will need to be followed by all that have been handed down from CAHA.
A file will be kept on every Head Coach and every Assistant Coach with the following requirements kept within. These items are mandatory before you are allowed to be a coach or be on the ice after Dec 31st. Please print off the receipt/certificate of each of the following and turn into the hockey office.
1. Register with USA Hockey (cost $30)
2. Background check/Register with CAHA (Possible cost of $60)
3. Copy of Coaching Card (Level 1 certified) (cost depends on level - $25-$45)
4. Concussion Training Certification
5. Register and take USA Hockey 8U Coaching Module (cost $10 - turn in receipt to hockey office to be reimbursed)
