Beginning Checking
Introduces the skill/tactic of checking through the use of 1) angling; 2) body contact; 3) contact confidence. 18 minutes, recommended for ages 10-14.

Body Checking
Introduces the fourth step in the skill/tactic of checking: body checking.23 minutes, recommended for ages 12 +.

Breakouts
The breakout results from gaining possession of the puck in the defensive zone and initiating the offense. 35 minutes, recommended for ages 12+.

Faceoffs
Guy Charron discusses the role of defense, wingers and the center for all face-offs. 45 minutes, recommended for ages 14+.

Fun And Games On Ice
This video provides a variety of game ideas that will add fun, skill development and motivation to your practices. 23 minutes, all ages.

Hockey Parents…Make the Difference
This video, which focuses on the role of parents in minor hockey, is a must for everyone. 25 different scenes show how good parents can make the difference in minor hockey. 21 minutes, all ages.

Power Play

Regroups

Stickhandling Theory and Preparation – Volume 1
An introduction to stickhandling with explanations and flow charts.Concepts include permanent motor control to execute body movement, skating techniques, i.e. shuffle stride and inside edge, and a players’ stick zone. A comprehensive section of the hockey stick is presented: height, type, curve, blade, toe, lie, taping, holding, gripping, flexibility, and right or left hand.31 minutes.

Stickhandling Agility Techniques – Volume 2
Highlights include dribbling the puck, good fakes, toe control, and using the inside and outside of skates. Two sections, one on expanding the players reach and the second on cupping the puck are included in this video.84 minutes.

The Moves, Fakes Or Dekes – Volume 3
Demonstrating further the front fake, under the stick move, and the pull-in move.Concentration is in the four steps included in every move – preparation, fake, seperation, and acceleration.48 minutes.

Stickhandling Drills For Coaches – Volume 4
A variety of drills are shown for stickhandling agility techniques. A section has been added on stickhandling tactics – teaching the players how and when to use these moves in game situationsl. 64 minutes
