DNHL Policies & Procedures

       HHHA DNHL Policies & Procedures

 
           Player Movement / Transfer:
 
·        Player / Parent has to notify DNHL Director / Mark Wildrick or Mike Robinson
·        Why does the Player want to move?
              - State reason
·        Player requesting movement cannot talk to;
 - Coach, Assistant Coach or other parents about the request to move.
·        Player cannot touch the ice with the “move to” team through the entire process.
·        Coach of team player is moving to:
               - Head Coach cannot recruit or approach player
               - Assistant Coach cannot recruit or approach player
               - Team Manager cannot recruit or approach player
               - Coach, Assistant Coach or Team Manager cannot recruit or approach parents
·        Review Meeting
             -DNHL Committee (Shawn Kurulak, Mike Robinson, Mark Wildrick)
              - Respective Coaches, if required
·        Paper work approval by HHHA Registrar.
·        Player cannot touch the ice until HHHA Registrar sends approval to the
                        Executive Hockey Director and/or DNHL Director
·        Notification of decision.
 - To DNHL Director and DNHL Committee
 - To Coaches
 
 Player Addition:
 
·        A player or players(s) cannot be added to any team, after evaluations, without going through due process
·        Due process: players that want to be added to a team after evaluations will meet with the DNHL Committee.
·        Players added after due process will go to the team that the DNHL Committee choose.
·        The DNHL Director, Mark, Mike, Shawn will go through the process with HHHA Registrar to have a player or player(s) added.
·        Any player not going through due process will be deemed illegal and will be removed from the team and moved to another team.
 
          
  
            Evaluations and Request list:
 
·        Players requesting to be on a certain team must submit said request in writing to the DNHL Committee prior to evaluations (Sept. 10 & 11). Requests will be reviewed by the DNHL Committee.
·        Not all requests will be granted.
·        Only the Coaches, DNHL Committee will be allowed in the coaches’ room for the DNHL draft.
·        Each team will have close to an equal number of players after the evaluations.
·        All teams may roster 20 players (18 skaters & 2 goalies) provided there are enough players.
·        All rosters will be frozen as of December 31.
·        All problems must go to the DNHL Committee.
